This 2-colour publication contains all details regarding ticket prices and seating layout for each of the games’ sports events and venues. Each of the event pictograms features; there is also a schedule of events. The catalogue is printed in black and Munich Olympic green throughout. This example is complete, containing the original two-sided broadsheet (often missing), displaying colour-coded seating plans for each of the venues sporting different classes of ticket (twenty venues in all), printed in the six special Munich Olympic colours plus black. The reverse side displays two maps; the first showing the competition sites in the Olympic Park, the second the competition sites in the Munich area (printed black, grey and Olympic blue). This is the third edition of what was an occasionally updated catalogue (ticket prices were regularly subject to alteration during the run up to the games), hence the numeral 3 appearing on the cover. Bi-lingual; English and German version.

Condition
The overall condition is very good; the broadsheet is like new. The catalogue has a soft crease at bottom right of the front cover and there is a small scuffing upper left where the green ink has rubbed away along the platten crease of the drawn on cover. There are a couple of pencil notations inside the pages. Binding is fine. Inside pages are bright and clean. There are no owner’s names or stamps.

How the auction works
The auction is by email only. The closing date for email is 10.00pm (BST) April 17. The item’s reserve price is GBP 50; bids below this amount will not be accepted. The highest bidder will secure the book at a purchase price of 10% above the amount of the second highest bid, ie. if the highest bid is GBP 90 and the second highest GBP 80, then the purchase price will be GBP 88. In the case of identical highest bids, the earliest received bid will be the winner and the purchase price will be the full bid amount. If there is only one bidder then the purchase price will be the full bid amount providing it is equal or higher than the reserve. Bidders will be informed at the time of their bid, whether or not their bid is the highest. If the received bid is the highest but then a higher bid is received at a later date, the previous highest bidder will be informed by email. Bidders can bid more than once. The highest bid will not be disclosed at any point during the auction. Postage costs are in addition to the final purchase price.
